I am a Counselling Psychologist who is passionate about supporting adults through life's challenging moments. I have over 7 years experience and have worked primarily in University counselling services and private practice and completed two additional years of specialisation training as a Counselling Psychologist.

My philosophical stance is that our mental health is just as important as our physical health and, working on it is an active and ongoing commitment (both inside and outside the therapy space). It is an honour to be entrusted with my client’s most personal thoughts and experiences and be a part of their mental health journey. I’ve heard it all, and I’m not here to judge you, but to help you better understand yourself (your present), background (your past) and how to navigate through life better (your future).

Marcus Aurelis said “The universe is change - our life is what our thoughts make it” 180-210 AD. What an incredible observation. Yet, so many of us fear our thoughts, don’t know what to do with them, or know how to untangle ourselves from our worries which can get in the way of work, study, relationships, family dynamics, personal growth, opportunities etc. Many of us don’t know what to do with our negative thoughts let alone how to be kind with ourselves.

I work with your preferences and values to provide individual strategies to help you move forward. My approach draws upon a range of evidence-based therapies, including:

  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)

  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialetical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Schema Therapy (ST)

  • Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

My aim is to provide a safe, collaborative space to explore difficult emotions, improve coping strategies and create meaningful, lasting change to help you be the person that you want to be.

If you think I am the right fit for you, click the ‘contact’ tab to make an telehealth appointment. As I have a young family, I have limited spots currently available.

Telehealth appointments are available on Monday - Thursday, including after hours.
